Biography
Iúnó was born in Wiltshire and studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Lillian Watson and Jonathan Papp. She completed her Undergraduate studies at the Birmingham Conservatoire with a First Class Honours degree, training with Catherine Benson. During her Undergraduate degree Iúnó spent an Erasmus term studying in the italian city of Ferrara at the Conservatorio di G. Frescobaldi, performing in and around the Emilia-Romagna region including recitals at the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara. She is the winner of the Elena Gehardt Lieder Prize (2016); the Cecil Drew Oratorio Prize (2013); the International Eisteddfod Vocal Competition (2013); the Promising Singer Prize at the Dean & Chadlington Festival (2014) and was awarded a Jennifer Vyvyan Scholarship and the Pat Syme Award for her studies at the Royal Academy of Music (2014/15).
